2011年10月16日，由意大利艺术家pia rossi一手设计和打造的Piae 亚麻制品将在798时代空间展出。此次展出时间为10月16日至18日。对意大利文化感兴趣的观众可以过来漫步在北京798艺术区领略意大利文化时尚家局艺术气息。

D" S9 CThe Piae linen collection is designed and manufactured exclusively in Italy: it brings to mind the classic designs of our western culture and combines them with “poudres” colours, furnishing ancient dwellings (castles, palaces, villas), as well as modern and minimalistic houses everywhere (penthouses in Rome, Paris, London, Milan, New York and now also in Beijing!!!)& [9 E b+ x; `

The material and colour create a type of scenery that distinguishes this unpredictable, dreamlike and extemporaneous style from any other.
( q0 R6 Z2 j, WIt is extremely difficult to appreciate the hand-painted Piae linen collection just by looking at pictures. These creations must be perceived using all the 5 senses:

They must be shaken in the wind to hear the noise they make, much like the linen sails of the ships of ancient Greece

The laurel wreath, which is so important in our culture as it reminds us of our glorious past, the pomegranate, a symbol of fertility and happiness, the passion flower with its futuristic shape, the peony so greatly loved in Victorian England, the gigliuccio (Peahole Hemstitch) which is so famous in Florentine iconography, the polka dots so simple and great!!!

To get together around a dining table as a family or with friends is practically a ritual for us Italians.

Indeed, it is created in Italy in the best linen factories. It is then sent to the Marche (a region of central of Italy), where it is cut, washed, dried, stitched and pressed…1 L$ P8 F1 Y/ N' K' v( y
+ ~, p+ r4 h9 J2 Z* z! g& iFollowing this, each piece is professionally hand-painted, ensuring that every item is unique, representing harmony, a dream, with well-balanced colours and designs.
